Do you think people who are earning while studying have an edge over other students who just focus on their study? (Discussion)

I would definitely say YES because this experience allows you to enlarge your network, to improve your skills portfolio considerably (time management and setting priorities, just to mention one), to show your initiative to a potential employer, to enrich your CV, to get some references and last but not least to earn some cash.

    Its a big yes because it allows you to grow.Grow in the sense that you become experienced.Its fruitful for you are studyin and havin an income simultaneously.this is highly exciting and interesting.You have your own indentity in today’s era as a succesful person too that is very important in today’s generation.

    I agree Karin. Gaining real life work experience is very important and makes all the theory that you are learning in school to be much more relevant. If you get the chance to take a degree with a Co-op or work and learn placements you should certainly try for this opportunity.
